Who operates this website

Spencer Grundmann operates this website under the Huklberry Pet Insurance brand. Huklberry Media supports the website's design and technical operation. Huklberry Pet Insurance and Huklberry Media are brand names. Neither is your insurer.

We work with Odie Pet Insurance Marketing, Inc. to present its pet insurance products and receive compensation for policies purchased through us. We do not compare every insurer or product in the market.

These terms cover using this website and buying through it. The insurance contract is set out in the policy documents issued through Odie. Website content does not replace or change those documents.

Quotes and insurance coverage

Prices and plan options come from Odie and depend on the information you provide, your location, and the selected plan. Changing those details can change the price or availability. A quote, saved request, or payment attempt is not proof of coverage.

Odie administers the insurance program and arranges policy issuance. The declarations and policy documents identify the insurer, effective dates, waiting periods, exclusions, limits, and other conditions. Huklberry does not underwrite, bind coverage, pay claims, or provide advice about which coverage to choose.

Your information and choices

Provide accurate information about yourself, your address, and your pet. Review your details and price before submitting a request or payment. Only provide information you are entitled to use.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter an insurance contract to purchase a policy. Product availability depends on your state and Odie's requirements.

Permission for marketing calls, texts, and emails is optional. You can request a quote and continue to available checkout without checking the contact-permission box. Necessary communications about a requested transaction or policy are separate.

Before you buy

At checkout you check three boxes before you can pay. With them you confirm that you understand pre-existing conditions are not covered, that you have read and agree to Odie's electronic delivery terms, the state notices and these terms and conditions, and that you understand and agree to the fraud warning. These boxes start unchecked each time and are separate from the optional marketing-contact permission.

When you pay, we record your acknowledgement: the wording and version shown, which boxes you checked, the time, your quote and cart references, your state, and the payment period and total. We keep this record with your transaction. See our Privacy Notice.

Odie sends policy documents electronically. If you don't want electronic delivery, contact Odie before you buy at support@odiepetinsurance.com or 877-327-0471.

Payments and policy service

Review the amount due today and how often you will be billed. The total for the payment period you choose comes from Odie and includes any installment fee. Card details are entered into Stripe's payment form and Odie processes the payment. Huklberry receives a payment token, not your full card number or CVC.

If a payment result is unclear, do not submit another payment until the existing attempt has been checked. Keep the payment reference. For policy changes, cancellation, refunds, documents, or claims, contact Odie and refer to your policy terms.

Eligible policies may have a free look period, generally 30 days, to cancel for a full refund if no claims have been submitted or processed. The period and conditions depend on your state and policy, and some state notices give a different period. Your policy documents decide. Contact Odie to cancel.

An initial payment decline does not create a policy. A later missed payment on an existing policy is handled by Odie and its payment provider under the policy's billing and cancellation terms. Do not assume that a payment retry extends coverage.

Using the site

Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or submit fraudulent information. Site availability and displayed content can change. Report errors so they can be investigated. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable law gives you.

The site's content, branding, and images belong to their respective owners. You may use the site to request insurance and keep copies of information relating to your request. Other uses require permission or a right provided by law.

Links to Odie, Stripe, and other websites lead to services operated by those providers. Their terms apply to their services. General information on this site is not individualized legal, veterinary, or insurance advice.
